I’m Rosie, an artist based out of the Bay Area. I create oil and acrylic paintings inspired by the nostalgia of past technology, fashion, films, and music. I depict characters living in vast deserts and subjects that exist within the confines of their own emotional state of reality. I strive to connect with people on an emotional level finding the nostalgic space in time that connects us all. Introducing the feeling of timeless memories and pop art realism. My artwork shares the symbolism and deep bonds that form between individuals who share a genuine connection over time. I depict this by painting with realistic symbolism and a bright color palette. You will see lots of inspiration from the era of retro televisions and classic Westerns. My art reflects the moments, experiences, and memories of my youth as well as my intention for the future. I strive to create worlds and characters that embody my spirit, curiosity, and compassion to create beautiful paintings.
